Cùng với phần cứng mạnh hơn, hệ điều hành mới bổ sung thêm tính năng cho phép khách hàng tự cài đặt ứng dụng từ bên thứ ba để bổ sung thêm các tính năng chuyên dụng cần thiết. Tuy nhiên, các tiện ích tích hợp sẵn hầu đã bao gồm như mọi thứ mà doanh nghiệp cần:

• Lưu trữ và chia sẻ thông tin làm việc một cách tập trung, bảo mật, dễ dàng triển khai, quản lý.
• Khả năng sao lưu dự phòng và phục hồi dữ liệu: NAS to/from external USB drive, NAS-to-NAS backup, NAS to/from Rysnc server, local or remote, Back up and restore via CIFS/NFS/HTTP/FTP, Back up to Amazon, Box...
